Multiple Application Approvers

We’ve introduced support for multiple approvers for applications in Ravenna. This gives organizations greater flexibility and control in how access requests are reviewed and approved.

What Is It

With Ravenna’s Okta integration, all of your applications can be synced into Ravenna. Previously, each application could only have a single owner/approver for access requests. Now, you can assign multiple approvers to any application, making it possible for several users to share responsibility for access approvals.

Why We Built It

Customers told us they needed more control over approval workflows, especially in cases where multiple stakeholders must sign off on access or back up approvers are required in case approvers are unavailable or out of the office. By supporting multiple approvers, Ravenna makes approvals more transparent, collaborative, and consistent with organizational governance policies.

What You Can Do With It

You can now assign multiple approvers to each application and use these approver lists within Ravenna workflows to define how requests are routed. You also have the flexibility to customize approval logic, such as requiring just one approver, routing approvals to all users, or configuring round robin approvals, depending on your governance needs. Once an approval is granted, Ravenna automatically provisions access, ensuring oversight, flexibility, and smooth collaboration across your access workflows.
