Today, we are introducing Ravenna Workflows, a new way to automate help desk operations Ravenna.
If your team has ever said, “Can Ravenna do X when Y happens?”, the answer is now almost certainly “yes."
What is Ravenna Workflows?
Ravenna Workflows is a canvas-style workflow editor backed by our powerful workflow automation engine built on top of Temporal.
Whether it's routing approvals, assigning tasks, or kicking off steps in other tools, Workflows lets you customize how Ravenna should behave, without writing a single line of code.
Today, we have a large library of Ravenna and Slack triggers and actions that allow customers to program workflows in Ravenna and Slack. Over the coming weeks we’ll be adding support for additional services, which will allow customers to program actions in external systems when events occur in Ravenna.
Why we built Workflows
We’ve been fortunate to speak with hundreds of customers over the past year, and one thing has become abundantly clear - no two teams are the same, and neither are their workflows. Customers need the ability to customize Ravenna to meet their unique needs.
Rather than build hard-coded rules and settings, we built a flexible editor that gives customers complete control to customize Ravenna and automate help desk operations.
Teams are already using workflows to automate routine tasks, save hours of manual effort, and deliver faster support to their internal customers.
Get started with Workflows
Ravenna Workflows is available to all customers today. To get started, log in to Ravenna and click on Workflows in the left navigation.
You can create Workflow collections to help organize all of your team’s work. Collections can contain any number of individual workflows.
To configure a workflow, you’ll need to select a trigger, and then one or many actions. Once you have configured your workflow, be sure to publish your workflow using the toggle in the upper left-hand corner.
