Task Trigger Updates

You can now take automatic action the moment a task is completed, including notifying the next owner. Automations now have access to both the current and future tasks in the sequence.

Why we built it

Teams often rely on multi-step task flows, but handoffs are a common point of slowdown. We wanted to build a reliable way to trigger next steps without relying on someone to manually alert the next owner.

What you can do with it

Use task completion as a workflow trigger to keep work moving. You can reference both the finishing task and the task that comes next, giving you more flexibility in how you automate handoffs.
