Okta Applications in Ravenna Workflows

We’re excited to share that Ravenna workflows now has complete support Okta application resources. Applications synchronized from Okta into Ravenna can be directly referenced in your workflows, making it easier to connect identity management with your governance processes. This enables customers to build canonical workflows that can manage access for all or a subset of your Okta applications.

Many of our customers rely on Okta as their identity provider and have asked for stronger connections between Okta-managed applications and Ravenna workflows. By bringing Okta applications into Ravenna, we’ve reduced the need for manual steps, eliminated duplication, and ensured that workflows stay aligned with existing identity setups. This creates a more seamless and consistent approach to access governance.

With this update, you can now design workflows that act directly on Okta applications. For example, you might automate approval steps when someone requests access to a specific Okta app, or set up provisioning workflows that ensure access is granted quickly and securely. This deeper integration helps you achieve more consistent governance while reducing manual overhead.
