We’ve introduced a new Linear Action in Ravenna to make it easier to escalate tickets from help desk queues to engineering or product teams. This feature enables seamless integration between Ravenna and Linear, reducing manual work when transferring issues between tools.

Why we built it

Many customers use Ravenna to manage incoming support or operations requests, while their engineering and product teams work in Linear. When a ticket needed to be escalated, teams had to manually recreate it in Linear — an error-prone and repetitive process. Customers asked for a way to automate this handoff to save time and maintain a clear connection between the original request and the Linear issue.

What you can do with it

Linear issues in Slack

The new Linear Action lets you automatically create Linear tickets directly from Ravenna workflows. You can map ticket details, assign ownership, and include relevant context, ensuring engineers have all the information they need. This makes escalations faster, keeps records in sync, and strengthens collaboration between support and product teams.
