We’ve added a new workflow trigger for ticket approvals. This makes it possible to automate actions when an approval decision is made.

What is it

The new Approval Workflow Trigger activates whenever a ticket is approved or declined. It includes two branches, one for approved, one for declined, so you can define different downstream actions for each outcome.

Why we built it

Customers asked for more automation around the approval process to reduce manual follow-up. Decisions on approvals often drive the next steps in a workflow, and this trigger allows teams to capture that logic directly in Ravenna.

What you can do with it

You can now build workflows that respond immediately to approval outcomes. For example, automatically move a ticket forward when approved, or notify stakeholders and close out work when declined. This ensures consistency and reduces time spent on manual coordination.
